Student Involvement in Walk with Ease
The Walk with Ease (WWE) project is supported by teams of trained students that serve in an array of different roles. Students can volunteer at the local walking sessions or complete the KIN 294A/B Practicum Course to be trained as a WWE Exercise Leader or as a member of the WWE Evaluation Team. Students get hands on experience with research and opportunities to work with and help older adults improve their fitness and function through the Walk with Ease program. Complete the short interest form to volunteer or contact Dr. Greg Welk ([email protected]) to learn more about the KIN 294A/B sequence and how to get more involved in the research components. The short video below provides some context.
