Spring Into SummerThe 2026 version of Spring into Summer was launched to help promote physical activity across the state of Iowa using a virtual Walk with Ease program. The pilot programming was conducted in collaboration with Healthy Iowans and the Healthiest State Initiative to build capacity for the future. The programming prioritized county level support mechanisms and we collectively reached participants in over 10 counties with the average age of participants being 50 years old. This program has been successful in reaching a broader group of Iowans who are either working full time or live in rural areas.
Our team is working with other clinical and health leaders in Story County and across the state to provide screening to evaluate risks for falling.
We offer periodic screening events in collaboration with Physical Therapists at Mary Greeley Medical Center and community screens in collaboration with the Story County Health Department. However, we also offer FREE screening by appointment. Additional information is available on the About page or in the flyer shown at right. For additional information or to sign up, complete this simple online form and we will reach out to answer any questions |
